Journey to the Heart Tour with Hamilton Island Air
See Heart Reef and some of the Whitsunday’s most renowned sights from above, including Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet, with a spectacular helicopter trip from Hamilton Island to Heart Island Pontoon. Spend 90 minutes relaxing in style on the spectacular Heart Island Pontoon, which features an incredible mirrored exterior, luxury fittings and a breathtaking outlook over the Great Barrier Reef. Explore the turquoise lagoon in a glass bottom boat tour, or swim or snorkel at your own pace. Each tour lasts 3 hours and hosts a maximum of 6 guests, ensuring a truly intimate and uninterrupted experience for all.

The displayed “From” rate is based on 10% off the Nightly Bed and Breakfast rate for a Garden View Room at the Reef View Hotel for 3 nights twin share.
Rates fluctuate based on selected dates and demand. Subject to availability. All prices are quoted in AUD and include 10% GST. All rates are based on two (2) adults per room. - This package is based on (2) passengers
- The package inclusion (Journey to the Heart Tour) will be automatically pre-booked on behalf of the guest for one of the stay days, and is subject to availability For Reef View Hotel, Palm Bungalows or Beach Club guests, please contact Tour Desk on or (07) 4946 8305 to discuss your package inclusions or amend the tour dates
- A minimum of 2 passengers applies to packages including tours by aircraft
- A maximum of 6 guests applies on the Journey to the Heart tour
- Journey to the Heart tour is for guests aged 13+ years only
- Passenger weight must be provided to reservations at the time of booking
- For legal and safety reasons all passengers are weighed prior to boarding – individual weights in excess of 110kg will incur an extra seat surcharge
- Combined body weights per two passenger bookings in excess of 180 kgs will incur an extra seat surcharge
- Maximum per seat weight is 130 kgs
- Touring luggage restriction is 1 soft bag not weighing more than 5kg per person
- Flight availability is subject to weather conditions
- Please note no foreign language speaking guides are currently available, travellers must speak fluent English

Promotional Misprints
Hamilton Island Enterprises Limited (HIE) endeavours to ensure that all prices listed on their website are accurate and up-to-date. If we discover an error in the price of any offer you have booked, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of cancelling it, or reconfirming the booking at the correct price (in the case of a price error). If we are unable to contact you, the booking will be treated as cancelled and if you have already paid you will receive a full refund.
Booking Credit Card Transaction Fees
Not applicable for Reef View Hotel, Palm Bungalows, The Sundays or Beach Club accommodation bookings made on the Hamilton Island website or via the Reservation call centre.
On Island Credit/Debit Card Transaction Fees
A non-refundable 1.25% surcharge applies for all ‘credit’ and ‘tap and go’ transactions made on the island via credit or debit card. Fee free payments can be made via EFTPOS upon your request to our staff. Once requested, please insert your card and select ‘savings’ or ‘cheque’.
Nightly Deposit(excludes Festive Season)
- A deposit equivalent to 20% of the total booking value is required at time of booking
- This deposit is refundable outside 14 days prior to arrival date
- Full payment is required at the time of booking if travel is within 7 days of arrival date
Nightly Final Balance(excludes Festive Season)
- The final balance payment of your accommodation is required no later than 7 days prior to arrival date
- Final balance payments are automatically processed on the nominated credit card provided at the time of booking
- Final balance payments not received by 7 days prior to arrival date may result in cancellation of the reservation

Nightly Cancellations and Amendments(excludes Festive Season)
- Cancellations and amendments received outside 14 days of arrival date will not incur a cancellation fee
- Cancellations and amendments received within 14-8 days of arrival date will be subject to a cancellation fee of 20% of the total booking value
- Cancellations and amendments received within 7 days of arrival date, ‘No Shows’ and/or ‘Early Departures’ will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking value
- Notice of any cancellation, amendment or reduction in reserved rooms must be provided in writing to Hamilton Island Holidays on vacations@hamiltonisland.com.au
- Alternatively, if you have booked online via our website and have not yet reached your cancellation deadline, you may cancel online here.
- If you have booked through a travel agent or Online Travel Agent, please contact them directly to make changes to your booking
- Change and cancellation fees are not payable where you are entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law.
